First, take into account the correct SLA/turnaround time for an order. .
Then, "work backwards" from the desired delivery date to choose the appropriate individual carrier and service.
NOTE: 2-day and Overnight shipping options are the ONLY guaranteed options and backed by 247's Shipping Claim Policy. All other carriers and services are NOT guaranteed and therefore can only be estimated as to an arrival window.
If you require a shipments to be delivered by a specific date, your best option is to select a guaranteed 2-day or Overnight service.
Example:
Today is a Tuesday before 12 pm EST. Your desired delivery date is the following Monday. The order contains 30+ units with no additional handling/pack-out requirements, so is therefore a "Standard" B2B orders which requires 2 business days for processing.
For successful delivery by end of day next Monday, you'd need to select a 2-day shipping option at time of order creation (or modify the shipping method in our system if it's being created from your store).
You select UPS 2nd Day Air as your shipping option.
The 2 business day processing ensures we will complete the order by EOD Thursday.
The 2-day option for shipping ensures the carrier will delivery by EOD Monday.
